Does anyone know of a standard either by Sprint, Sanyo or the 3G working group that would allow one to send a well-crafted SMS or WML page that would allow the phone to say "Phonebook Entry Received -- Load into phonebook?"

How great would that be?

Right now, if I want to put my numbers into the phone, I have to get the cable plus software. Sure its $50, but I can write something via the web to do it. How great would it be if you could send a vCard to a mobile phone as a file and have the phone deal with it correctly? Even better, how great would it be if you could "auto accept" incoming Phonebook entries for a period of time, and be able to send via SMS or just download a bunch of vCards (generated by a script obviously) and have your phonebook easily populated?

Does this exist already?
